What Is A Federal Drug Crime

Pursuant to Title 21 of the United States Code § 841-The Controlled Substance Act, if you knowingly and intentionally manufactured, distributed, or dispensed, or possessed with the intent to manufacture, distribute or dispense a controlled substance and/or a counterfeit substance, you are engaging in an unlawful act, and depending on the severity of crime, you may be subject to being charged with a Federal Drug Crime. In addition to a federal drug charge, you may also be charged with conspiracy, money laundering and organized crime.

  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
  • Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
  • Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF)
  • U.S. Customs and Border Protect (CBP)
  • U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)
  • U.S. Postal Inspection Service

No matter the agency involved, the case is eventually handed over to the Department of Justice for prosecution.
